Run-In with the FBI!
Sunday was the Poker Run, the annual fund raiser for the Calusa Land Trust. We were out on the run cruising to our first stop and minding our own business, when an FBI boat screamed up upon our stern and demanded that we stop and be boarded! At first we were shook with terror at the sound of their bullhorn and the thought of being bossed around by the Feds. However, upon closer examination of the agents, we realized that something was afloat. Take a look at this pic and see if you spot any irregularities—these chicks were way too hot to be working for the government! We surmised that they must have been pirates. Luckily Jerry and Mitzy mounted a counter attack of ferocious barking and the would-be bandits cruised off in search of easier game. One never knows what one will see out here on Pine Island Sound.

Business in the Middle
In the middle of the week I had a couple of short business trips—a fast flight to D.C. to teach a course on leadership and an easy drive up to Venice to consult with a Canadian client. Good folks and successful projects.
PIBC Christmas Party
Saturday night was the Christmas party for the Pine Island Boat Club. By what I observed, everyone had a great time. Here are a few pics.

Note: If you’d like to see more pics of the party, click here and open up “PIBC Xmas Party” folder. All images can be downloaded and you are welcome to upload any party pics that you took.
Pups Across America
Here are a couple of pics of The Kids: Jerry in his authentic bomber jacket and Mitzy in her fashionable wool sweater.

Painterly Pups
This week I’ve added a painted version of Mitzy with our good friend Jo. The original photo was taken on the California coast.

Come back next week for some more pup pics.
