Blog 351: Red-Headed, Pied-Billed, and Yellow-Rumped Ducks

The swimming and feeding of the hundreds of ducks at Lighthouse Pond resonate a melody like a waterfall in motion. Squat on the bank, plop down on a chair, and the mesmerizing sound and the soothing spectacle will melt your stress like butter in a warm pan.

Here are lesser scaups, a greater scaup, a pair of American wigeons, and a redhead in the swim.

Birds of Prey
This pair of eagles may possibly be arguing over nest duty (it is that time of year), and a red-shouldered hawk probably scouting out breakfast.
